What This App Does

Codex is a web application for exploring mouse connectome data, reviewing morphology, and browsing analysis outputs. Some parts of the application read annotation data from a shared Google Sheet used by Morpho-Typer.

Information Pulled From Shared Sheets

Morpho-Typer reads shared Google Sheet content such as labels, statuses, and filter options. The app does not request Google account identity information from end users.

How Shared Sheet Data Is Used

Shared Google Sheet data is used only to read spreadsheet content required for Morpho-Typer and related views, and to build cached server-side copies that improve performance.

Data Stored By The App

The app stores cached copies of shared Google Sheets payloads so it can avoid repeated fetches and render Morpho-Typer more quickly. The app does not store Google OAuth access tokens or Google account identity data for this feature.

Logs And Technical Data

The service may log request URLs, timing information, errors, and other operational metadata needed to run, debug, and secure the app. These logs may contain IP-address-level network metadata provided by the hosting platform.

Sharing And Disclosure

The app does not use sheet-backed data for advertising and does not sell personal information. Data may be disclosed only to the extent needed to operate the hosted service, comply with legal obligations, or protect the service from abuse or security incidents.

Retention

Cached Google Sheets data may remain stored until it is replaced or removed by the service operator. If you want cached data cleared, contact the operator of this Codex deployment.

Your Choices

Morpho-Typer reads from a shared sheet without requiring Google sign-in. If you do not want to use these shared-sheet-backed features, you can avoid the Morpho-Typer views.
